Who is victor in x man

In 1845, North-Western Territory, British North America a young Victor visited James while Victor's father had a confrontation with James' father. James witnessed his father's death and in an act of vengeance, killed Logan using bone claws which protruded from his hands. With his dying breath, Thomas Logan told James that he was also his son. James ran away, but was overtaken by Victor. Victor said that they were brothers and vowed that they would look out for each other no matter what. In the following years, Victor and Logan fought together throughout the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. During the Vietnam War, Victor grew increasingly violent and uncontrolled and attempted to rape a young woman and then brutally attacked the soldiers who tried to stop him leading to both him and Logan being placed in front of a firing squad.

Their unique regenerative abilities kept them alive, bringing them to the attention of Major William Stryker who invited them to join an all-mutant team called Team X. During a mission to retrieve a meteorite from a diamond trafficking operation in Lagos, Nigeria, Stryker and the team interrogated nearby villagers to see if there were any other meteorites. The village chief refused to tell Stryker the origins of the meteorites, as they believe them to be sacred. Stryker then ordered Victor to kill the chief. The whole village descended into chaos as Stryker's team started killing the civilians. Logan was disgusted by the murders committed by his teammates and abandoned Victor and the group.

Eight Years later, Victor hunted down and began to kill the other members of the team, starting with Bolt. Soon Kayla Silbverfox was also murdered by Victor. A furious and grieving Wolverine found Victor in a bar and asked him why he killed her. Victor replied by saying "How else am I going to get your attention?" The two then lunged themselves after each other. Victor easily defeated Logan and snapped off his bone claws on his left hand.
Later, Victor captured a teenage Scott Summers for Stryker. Victor then confronted Wolverine again in New Orleans, after killing John Wraith and taking a blood sample from him. Victor fought Wolverine only to be interrupted by Gambit. Wolverine was told that Victor and Stryker were subsequently working together to capture various mutants, culminating in tricking Wolverine into agreeing to have adamantium bonded to his skeleton by claiming that Victor had gone rogue and had killed the woman Wolverine loved. Wolverine then left, after learning this. Victor, angered at Stryker that he let Wolverine go, demanded the adamantium procedure. Despite the animosity between the two of them - made even worse when Stryker revealed that, contrary to his deal with Victor, he cannot merge adamantium to his skeleton because it would kill him (his healing factor is less powerful than Logan's). In an act of rage, Victor tried to kill Kayla for real. Wolverine heard Kayla's screams and attacked Victor and defeated him in combat . Finally having the chance to kill Victor, Wolverine chose not to give in to his animal instincts and instead knocked him out. As Wolverine and Weapon XI are fighting, Weapon XI overpowered Wolverine and prepared to decapitate him. Victor returned to aid his brother. Wolverine and Victor, now working together, were able to decapitate Weapon XI; sending its head, still firing optic blasts, down into the cooling tower. Wolverine coldly informed Victor that despite his help, their relationship was over. Victor simply reminded him that they are brothers, and they can never be finished. Victor also claimed that only he gets to kill Wolverine. Victor then jumped off the side of the cooling tower.

Why Joker is best villan forever

There is many reason behind this..

1. Heath Ledger worked on the terrifying costume himself, the iconic extra lipstick smile that no other Villain can ever replicate. It didn't have the fancy and clean makeup the Old Joker had. The New Joker's face paint was patchy and his clothes looked ancient. But that's what really added to making him feel more Real.
2.
The Joker didn't have any Agenda to follow, he didn't Plan revenge for some childhood mishap or some crazy reason like that. The Joker did what he did because he liked it, and though he's incredibly destructive, he does all of it for "fun", for the simple reason that it gave him pleasure. That makes him so unique amongst villains that we just can't help loving the guy.

3.

HE HAS THE BEST DIALOGUES EVER WRITTEN FOR A VILLAIN. Though the Joker is a psychopath, some of the things he says are undeniably true. What's more, some of just can't help agreeing with the Joker.
4.And beyond this, it was because Heath Ledger was an absolute Genius at being the Joker. In fact not many of us know that the Hospital scene from the Dark Knight, where Joker taps the remote and looks at the building before it explodes was improvised! The building was supposed to explode in the background like it does when a lot of superheroes walk toward the camera but the Explosives malfunctioned. Heath Ledger stayed in character, though the explosion failed and the result was a masterpiece :
5.So that's obviously why Joker remains the best Supervillain in modern history.

Edit: One more reason why the Joker is a Supervillain no one can forget is this question that stumps Geniuses:
The Joker Understands the Batman on an Emotional and Personal level. He gets into his mind and toys around with Batman's darkest secrets. On the whole Joker doesn't mind getting killed in the process. In fact, he WANTS to be killed by the Batman. He's a villain who has placed his Mission before his Life, swearing to test the Hero to the very limits and beyond and that's what truly makes the Joker the most Kickass Villain of them all.

How captain America old

Steve Rogers is said to have been born in the 1920's. WWII started roughly in 1939 with the invasion of Poland by Germany. Rogers attempts to enlist in the US Army in 1940, however due to his frail physical state he is denied entry.

Having been observed by certain key Army officials attempting to enlist several more times after being denied, he is inducted in to Project Rebirth as its first candidate for Dr. Erskin's Super-Soldier Serum. After receiving said serum, and becoming the pinnacle of human potential he operates in the European theater of war for several years alongside Bucky Barnes and, on occasion members of the Invaders.

On his final mission during the war he and Barnes are presumed dead when the experimental bomb they are attempting to stop from destroying Washington DC explodes dumping Cap in the Arctic waters to be frozen and preserved for many years before he is found and revived by the founding members of the Avengers.

I'm trying to figure out how old he was when he received his serum treatments and became Captain America, and/or how old he was when he was frozen in the ice.

Spider-Man’s Role in the ‘Civil War’ Comics

Possible SPOILERS ahead!
With Spider-Man returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, let’s take an in-depth look at what his role was in the original Civil War comic book arc (which is serving as the basis for Captain America: Civil War), how he impacted that storyline, and what this may mean for the future.
Humble Beginnings
Before Civil War began in the Marvel comic book universe, Peter Parker had finally taken his place among the Avengers. For nearly all of his superhero career, Spider-Man had worked on his own. Adverse to groups in general, Peter never found himself a “team player” — whenever he had worked together with other heroes, he was quick to make this point known.

Whose Side Are You On?
When Civil War began, there was no one who had more to lose than Spider-Man. Many heroes at this time held public identities and Spidey was one of the only ones who had about a zillion enemies who were chomping at the bit to learn who was under the mask. With Captain America fighting against the Registration Act, Tony continued to keep Peter under his wing as he rallied his own band of heroes to push through a program that would see them work directly for the U.S. government. Stark, early in the series, takes Peter to the side and convinces him that revealing his secret identity to the public would work wonders for the cause.

ALL TOGHETHER NOW
In a last ditch attempt to set things right, Captain America and Spider-Man take what’s left of the resistance and attempt to free the heroes that were captured by Stark and Co. As they release everyone, the Pro-Registration side and the Anti-Registration side come to blows in a gigantic slugfest over the skyline of New York City. In arguably one of the coolest Spider-Man scenes of all time, Peter begins dismantling heroes and villains alike, eliciting a state of awe from everyone around him. Ultimately though, the Anti-Registration side loses, as Cap begins to realize that you can’t punch out a law, and surrenders himself to the government. Spidey, along with a good chunk of his team, decides to continue to work underground in secret. Peter even wears his old black costume in order to reflect the dire severity of his current situation.

For awhile, the Marvel Universe is changed, and heroes who are registered become the top dogs, while heroes who are not are forced to fight with villains, avoid the law, and take on a much larger population of Pro-Reg backers. Much like everything in comics though, this status was only temporary, and Spider-Man eventually found himself regaining his secret identity and losing his marriage thanks to a weird spell created by Dr. Strange and the shenanigans of Satan.Ultimately, its still not confirmed as to how much of a role Spidey will in fact have in Captain America: Civil War, and which of the events from the comic will happen, but it’s quite something to see that this is all really coming together, and Spider-Man will be swinging alongside the Avengers in the next few years.

Wolverine Travels to the Past

The first time around, the situation was reversed and Singer was initially tapped to direct the prequel before handing over the reins to Vaughn. Now, the pair alongside writers Simon Kinberg and Jane Goldman, have devised a way to not only deliver a sequel to First Class that meets the studio’s desire to include Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart in some capacity, but to circle around to the original X-Men trilogy with a story involving everyone we’ve met in the franchise so far, while still introducing new faces.

In the film adaptation – at least, according to Uncanny X-Men comics writer Chris Claremeont – the core story remains intact and faithful to the source material but we know there’s at least one major difference. In the movie, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is the mutant that travels back in time instead of Ellen Page’s Kitty Pryde. For some comic readers, this deviation is a point of contention in a series that’s often deviated from the books, for others, more Hugh Jackman the better. As for the creative team’s reasoning, Simon Kinberg explains to Total Film:

Keeping Jackman in front of the camera as much as possible is logical for the obvious marketing benefits and like Kinberg says, he has mass appeal outside of X-Men fans. His latest mutant adventure in James Mangold’s The Wolverine – which hits home video tomorrow – proved to be the second most successful X-Men film at the box office thanks to the boost from 3D ticket prices and a followup is already in the works. Plus, it’s hard to deny the onscreen joy of seeing Jackman share the screen with the likes of James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender.

The wolverine

The Wolverine is a 2013 superhero filmfeaturing the Marvel Comics character Wolverine. The film, distributed by 20th Century Fox, is the sixth installment in the X-Men film seriesHugh Jackman reprises his role from previous films as the title character, with James Mangold directing a screenplay written by Scott Frank and Mark Bomback, based on the 1982 limited series Wolverine by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. In the film, which follows the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, Logan travels to Japan, where he engages an old acquaintance in a struggle that has lasting consequences. Stripped of his healing factor, Wolverine must battle deadly samurai while struggling with guilt.

The film's development began in 2009 after the release of X-Men Origins: WolverineChristopher McQuarrie was hired to write a screenplay for The Wolverine in August 2009. In October 2010, Darren Aronofsky was hired to direct the film. The project was delayed following Aronofsky's departure and the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. In June 2011, Mangold was brought on board to replace Aronofsky. Bomback was then hired to rewrite the screenplay in September 2011. The supporting characters were cast in July 2012 with principal photography beginning at the end of the month around New South Wales before moving to Tokyo in August 2012 and back to New South Wales in October 2012. The film was converted to 3D in post-production.

The Wolverine was released on July 24, 2013, in various international markets, and on July 26, 2013, in the United States. The film received generally positive reviews from film critics and earned US$414.8 millionworldwide, nearly 3.5 times its production budget of $120 million, making it the fifth highest-grossing film in the series. A third Wolverine film, titled Logan, was released on March 3, 2017.

In October 2010, Jackman confirmed that Aronofsky would direct the film. Jackman commented that with Aronofsky directing, Wolverine 2 will not be "usual" stating, "This is, hopefully for me, going to be out of the box. It's going to be the best one, I hope... Well, I would say that, but I really do feel that, and I feel this is going to be very different. This is Wolverine. This is not Popeye. He's kind of dark... But, you know, this is a change of pace. Chris McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects, has written the script, so that'll give you a good clue. [Aronofsky's] going to make it fantastic. There's going to be some meat on the bones. There will be something to think about as you leave the theater, for sure".[11]The film was scheduled to begin principal photography in March 2011 in New York Citybefore the production moves to Japan for the bulk of shooting.
